You can connect your smartwatch to your mobile device with the Wear OS app. The latest version of Wear OS (Version 3) is not supported by the Wear OS app. Figure out where to look for the device’s operating system.
Here’s how to set up your Galaxy Watch 4 series device.

- Get your device and phone charged up before you get started.
- Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Verify the device’s and phone’s compatibility before heading out.

- Google has made the Wear OS software available in their app store.
Prepare your new watch for use.
- Launch Google’s Wear OS app on your mobile device.
- Select the “Set up” option.
- To select a language and agree to the terms of service on your device, simply follow the on-screen prompts.
- You may find the name of your watch by following the on-screen prompts on your phone.
- Select your watch by pressing its name.
- Follow these instructions if you can’t find it.
- There’s a code on your phone, so check it out.
- If the codes match: In order to start a pairing process, please use your phone. This may take a little while.
- Reset your watch and try again if the codes are different. If you’re still having difficulties getting the codes to match, try the following.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
In the Wear OS app, you’ll see the word “Connected” once your phone and watch have established a stable connection. Your device will display “Disconnected” whenever the two are not connected.
