Gold prices in Pakistan went up for the third day. On Friday, gold prices almost reached Rs. 250,000 per tola. The Karachi Sarafa Association shared the new prices. Gold (24 carats) went up by Rs. 2,200 per tola. Now, it costs Rs. 249,000 per tola. The price for 10 grams also increased. It went up by Rs. 1,886. Now, it costs Rs. 213,477.
The Sarafa Association shared some reasons. They said the price stays below the cost—Rs. 2,800 less—because people buy less gold. The price drop increased by Rs. 300 from yesterday.
At the start of the week, gold prices fell. But they rose on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, the price increased by Rs. 600 per tola. On Thursday, it went up by Rs. 1,200 per tola. Today, the price rose again. Now, the three-day increase totals Rs. 4,000 per tola.
Gold prices change often. Many things affect them. When people buy less, prices can drop, but they can also go up again. The last three days showed a strong increase, which could continue or change again soon. Buyers and sellers watch these prices closely.
