While a final decision on the date has not yet made, the PCB has also revealed a potential date for HBL PSL 2024 Season 9.

Every year, all of the Pakistan Super League’s franchises—which comprise players from all over the world—hold a player’s draft to select new members for their teams.
Season 9 Players Draft
Comparably, the PCB has declared that the player draft for HBL PSL 2024 Season 9 will take place in mid-December 2023.
An aggressive left-handed batsman from England named Dawid Malan has formally registered for the Player Draft 2024.
Dawid Malan had previously played in the Pakistan Super League for Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.
Among the players who took part in the Pakistan Super League’s inaugural season was Dawid Malan.
He has participated in 4 of the 8 seasons to date, playing for Peshawar Zalmi in 2016, 2017, and 2019 and Islamabad in 2020.
International Players
An aggressive left-handed batsman from Afghanistan named Hazratullah Zazai has also formally registered for the Players Draft 2024.
Shakib al Hasan, the best all-round player in Bangladesh, is also going to the draft.
PSL 9 will get more excitement and depth with the arrival of South African batter Rassie Van der Dussen, who is well-known for his explosive style and anchoring abilities with Islamabad United.
More foreign players are still being registered for the HBL PSL Player Draft 2024, and this process will be finished prior to the HBL PSL Draft 2024.
