The Dubai Customs’ Consultative Council has voiced its support for the Dubai Economic Plan D33, which has the objective of doubling the country’s economy by 2033 through the implementation of one hundred transformative initiatives.
The initial set of projects involves expanding the Arab country’s global trade map to encompass 400 additional cities and tripling the volume of the emirate’s exports to foreign countries.
In addition, the council stressed the significance of a cooperative effort between the public sector and the business sector in order to accomplish these goals.
It was observed by members of the council that the agenda will improve the country’s competitiveness and cement its central position in the global economy. This will further solidify Dubai’s role as the destination of choice for enterprises and merchants.
In accordance with the country’s vision, the purpose of the council is to provide cutting-edge and cutting-edge services in the interest of streamlining customs operations and facilitating traders.
Dubai Customs’ services are continuously expanding
According to WAM, the Arab country’s customs was able to successfully conduct 26 million customs transactions in the first quarter of the year, which represents a significant growth.
With a growth of 127 percent from 29.1 million passengers in 2021 to 66 million passengers in 2022, Dubai International Airport became the leading airport in the world in terms of the number of people traveling internationally.
