The 0335 network code in Pakistan belongs to Ufone. If you receive a call or message from a number starting with 0335, that SIM was originally issued by Ufone. This guide explains everything about the 0335 prefix, how Pakistan’s SIM code system works, and what you need to know about all major network codes.

What Is the 0335 Network Code?

0335 is a Ufone SIM code in Pakistan. Ufone owns an entire block of prefixes in the 033x range. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) assigns these number ranges to each telecom operator, and no two networks share the same prefix block.

So when you see a number like 0335-1234567, you know right away that SIM came from Ufone. This makes daily life easier, from choosing a call package to recognising unknown callers.

Ufone’s Full Prefix List in Pakistan

Ufone does not just own 0335. It operates across a wide range of 033x codes. Here is the full list of Ufone network codes:

  • 0330 – Ufone
  • 0331 – Ufone
  • 0332 – Ufone
  • 0333 – Ufone
  • 0334 – Ufone
  • 0335 – Ufone
  • 0336 – Ufone
  • 0337 – Ufone
  • 0338 – Ufone

That is nine different prefixes, all belonging to the same operator. Ufone is owned by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), which is partly owned by the Pakistani government.

How Do SIM Codes Work in Pakistan?

A SIM code (also called a network prefix) is the first four digits of any Pakistani mobile number. Pakistani mobile numbers are 11 digits long in total, and they always start with 03. The two digits after 03 tell you which operator owns that SIM.

The PTA assigns each prefix block to a specific telecom company. Once assigned, that code stays with that company permanently. So the prefix does not change, even if many years pass.

Here is a quick breakdown of all major network codes in Pakistan:

  • Jazz (Mobilink/Warid): 0300-0309, 0320-0325
  • Zong (CMPak): 0310-0319, 0370-0379
  • Ufone (PTCL): 0330-0338
  • Telenor: 0340-0349
  • SCOM: 035x (limited to AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan)
  • Onic: 0339, 0370+ (digital-first, a Ufone subsidiary)

If you already know how Jazz numbers work, you can check our guide on the 0300 network code in Pakistan for a side-by-side comparison.

Why Knowing the 0335 Network Code Matters

Knowing which network a number belongs to is not just about curiosity. It has real, practical benefits in everyday Pakistan:

  • Save money on calls: Most telecom packages offer cheaper or free on-network calls. If you know a number is Ufone (like 0335), and you also have a Ufone SIM, you can use an on-net bundle to save money.
  • Pick the right internet bundle: Some data packages only work for calls or SMS to the same network. Knowing the prefix helps you choose the right plan.
  • Spot suspicious numbers: If you see an unfamiliar prefix, it can help you decide whether to pick up or not. Recognising normal prefixes makes unusual ones stand out more easily.
  • Business use: Companies that send SMS campaigns or run call centres use SIM codes to plan their outreach and manage communication costs better.

What About Mobile Number Portability (MNP)?

There is one important thing to know. A number starting with 0335 shows the original network, not always the current one. Pakistan introduced Mobile Number Portability (MNP) in 2007, which lets users switch networks without changing their phone number.

So a 0335 number may have started life on Ufone, but the user could have later moved to Jazz, Zong, or Telenor. The first four digits still show 0335, but the active network may be different.

If you need to know the current network of a ported number, you can contact the PTA directly or use their official verification tools. The PTA keeps a live record of which network each number is actually using today.

About Ufone in Pakistan

Ufone is one of Pakistan’s major telecom operators. It is a subsidiary of PTCL, which gives it a strong backing and wide national reach. Ufone is well known for its affordable voice call packages and customer-friendly offers. Its coverage is particularly solid in Punjab and major urban areas, though it also serves many smaller towns across the country.

In recent years, Ufone has also expanded its 4G network, making it a solid choice for both calls and mobile data. A newer digital-first brand called Onic, which is a subsidiary of Ufone, has also entered the market and uses some newer prefix codes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which network does the 0335 code belong to in Pakistan?

The 0335 network code belongs to Ufone in Pakistan. It is one of the official SIM prefixes in the 033x series assigned to Ufone by the PTA.

Is 0335 a Telenor or Ufone number?

It is a Ufone number, not Telenor. Telenor uses the 034x prefix block (like 0340, 0341, 0342, etc.). Ufone uses the 033x range, which includes 0335.

Can a 0335 number be on a different network now?

Yes, it is possible. Thanks to Mobile Number Portability (MNP), a user with a 0335 number may have moved to another network. The prefix still shows Ufone as the original issuer, but the user’s active network could be different. To confirm the current network, you can check through PTA’s official channels.

How can I find out which network any Pakistani number belongs to?

Simply look at the first four digits of the number. Match those four digits against the known prefix list. For example, 0300-0309 is Jazz, 0310-0319 is Zong, 0330-0338 is Ufone, and 0340-0349 is Telenor. If the number has been ported, the PTA’s official number portability check service can confirm the active network.
