The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced a new policy to simplify the Hajj process for pilgrims across the country. Under this initiative, all essential procedures at Hajj camps will now be completed in a single day. This decision aims to reduce expenses and improve efficiency for all participants.
Implementation Date and Cities
Starting from April 8, 2026, the new system will be introduced in phases across ten major cities, including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan. The schedule will be managed according to Hajj flight operations to ensure smooth arrangements.
One Day Complete Process
Under this new plan, pilgrims will complete all necessary steps in one visit. These include Hajj training, vaccination, and receiving important travel documents. This approach will make the process faster and more organized.
Travel Documents and Identification
Pilgrims will receive their air tickets, visas, identification lockets, and luggage tags on the same day. This ensures that all travel-related requirements are fulfilled without delays or multiple visits to the Hajj camps.
Additional Facilities for Pilgrims
To further support pilgrims, services like medicine packing and currency exchange will also be available at the camps. Special bank counters will be set up to facilitate easy currency exchange, making the experience more convenient.
Important Instructions for Pilgrims
The Ministry has advised all pilgrims to bring their original CNIC and a computerized bank receipt with a photograph. They must also follow their schedule provided on the Pak Hajj App to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.
