Islamabad and nearby regions have been experiencing cold and dry weather on 8 and 9 January with frost likely during early mornings in some places and a tendency for dense morning fog over the plains. On 10 January PMD indicates that cold and dry conditions will continue in plain areas and that fog and frost may occur at isolated places especially in Pothohar region and Kashmir.
