Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are getting divorced. Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Tuesday. This happened on the anniversary of their wedding in 2022. They had first eloped in Las Vegas a month before the big wedding in Georgia.
The couple has been living apart for some time. Lopez even canceled her summer tour to focus on family. They also put their Beverly Hills home up for sale.
This breakup is another chapter in their love story. They first met over 20 years ago on the set of the movie “Gigli.” They played criminals in the film. They became real-life friends and then started dating.
