- Two variants for riders of all ages
The new CE 02 comes in two versions, each with a powerful drive, a lightweight design, and a practical range. The 11 kW (15 hp) version is suitable for riders as young as 16 years old.
For younger riders, a 4 kW (5 hp) version with a top speed of 45 km/h is available, meeting the requirements of the AM driving license class. Riders as young as 15 with a car license can enjoy the CE 02 in Germany, subject to local regulations.
The 11 kW version’s robust drive system allows for quick acceleration at traffic lights, providing a dynamic riding experience. With a top speed of 95 km/h, the CE 02 is ideal for expressway travel.
Its impressive range of more than 90 km (WMTC, 11 kW version) allows for extended urban adventures without having to worry about recharging.
The CE 02 excels in playful handling, making it a joy to maneuver through city streets, despite weighing only 132 kg (11 kW version) or 119 kg (4 kW version) and boasting a low seat height of just 750 mm.

The BMW CE 02 includes a variety of riding modes to accommodate a variety of preferences and riding scenarios. The “Flow” and “Surf” modes are included as standard.
“Flow” mode is specifically designed for smooth and comfortable city cruising, ensuring an optimal setup for city rides.
“Surf” mode, on the other hand, improves the riding experience by providing a more dynamic and spirited performance outside of congested city streets.
The optional “Flash” mode is available for those looking for an even more thrilling ride. This sporty and dynamic mode is available as an option with the HIGHLINE or as an original BMW Motorrad accessory, allowing riders to further customize their CE 02 experience.

The black frame, wheels, front fender, and triple clamp fairing contrast with the engine cover’s matte granite grey metallic finish, creating an exciting interplay of matte and glossy surfaces. The special HIGHLINE version of the CE 02 features an outgoing and colorful appearance for those looking for a more vibrant style.
The CE 02 exudes a dynamic and forward-thinking aesthetic, even when stationary, with gold-anodized forks and a tape design complemented by a contrasting Petrol color.
- Intelligent Features and Seamless Connectivity:
The BMW CE 02 features an easy-to-use TFT display, a convenient USB-C charging port, and a variety of connectivity options.
The clear and easily readable TFT display provides the rider with important information such as current speed and battery charge status, among other things.
Riders can charge their smartphones on the go thanks to the USB-C charging port. The smartphone can be connected via Bluetooth to the BMW Motorrad Connected app, enabling features such as displaying the estimated time remaining for charging, similar to the BMW CE 04.
The cradle mode in the HIGHLINE version enables safe control of the BMW Motorrad app on the smartphone (held in a smartphone holder) as an additional display via the handlebar keypad.
The app also allows users to record their trips and access CE 02 vehicle information, such as charging status and more, via the BMW Motorrad Connected Services, which are included in the HIGHLINE package.
The BMW Motorrad Connected app allows you to stay connected and informed about your CE 02 from anywhere, at any time.
- The Advanced Chassis Technology of the BMW CE 02
The chassis of the BMW CE 02 has been meticulously designed to improve performance and maneuverability. Its chassis is made of tubular steel and features a strong and torsionally rigid double-loop frame.
Front suspension is provided by hydraulic damped telescopic forks, while rear suspension is provided by a single-sided swingarm and a directly pivoted shock absorber. This combination provides the best stability and control.
The CE 02 is outfitted with wide tires mounted on cast light alloy wheels with disc wheel designs. The vehicle has disc brakes on both the front and rear axles to ensure safe deceleration.
Furthermore, the front brakes are equipped with the advanced BMW Motorrad ABS system, which improves safety and control.
The BMW CE 02’s expertly engineered chassis provides an exceptional riding experience with precise handling and dependable braking performance.
- Enhanced Charging Options: Fast and Flexible Charging
The BMW CE 02 comes standard with an external charger with a charging power of 0.9 kW. This enables quick and easy charging via standard household sockets. An optional quick charger is available for even faster charging.
The quick charger, with a charging power of 1.5 kW, significantly reduces charging times. This option is available as part of the HIGHLINE optional equipment and as an Original BMW Motorrad accessory (available only in the 11 kW version).
