Five homes destroyed by fire apart from Lahore
The rescue team has finished the rescue operation and moved the dead to the mortuary. At least ten members of the same family, including women and children, perished and another 13 were injured earlier this year when their home in the Siri Pattan neighbourhood of Lower Kohistan caught fire and the roof collapsed.
Sajid Ali, the District Emergency Officer, reported that Nawab Wali Muhammad Khan’s home in the Siri Pattan neighbourhood of Lower Kohistan had caught fire overnight. He also mentioned that the house’s roof had collapsed due to the blaze, trapping the occupants within. Three of Nawab Khan’s children were injured while his wife and five of his daughters were killed instantly.
