The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication (MoITT) has made the decision to provide government personnel with comprehensive cybersecurity training.
This cyber security training would be carried out in partnership with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the Ignite National Technology Fund, according to sources in the MoITT.

It has been agreed to teach government staff due to the rising cyber security concerns and cyberattacks, according to the sources.
Government officials will learn about preventative steps to fend off cyberattacks at this workshop. Administrators in government agencies will receive advanced training in cyberattack prevention under this program.
MoITT Previous Initiative on Cybersecurity
According to MoITT officials, the Ministry of IT and Telecom conducted one basic level of training in 2022 at the Prime Minister’s Office’s request.
The NITB held that basic training course for designated focus individuals from ministries and departments.
The National Telecommunication and Information Security Board (NTISB) held another training session in January 2023.
The officials claim that there have been more cyberattacks on government organizations this year than in prior years.
Hackers have modified their tactics as well and are now attacking businesses with a variety of tools.
In such a circumstance, it is necessary to expand the capabilities of public institutions and train public servants.
Officials from the IT Ministry claim that the Cabinet Division regularly provides advisories on cyberthreats and cyberattacks.
Additionally, employees and government organizations are urged to take security measures to prevent these assaults.
Under this project, government staff will receive advanced-level training so they can adapt to the demands of the moment.
