According to an international news agency, Dubai Customs assisted Canada’s authorities in seizing more than 547 kilogrammes of drugs and cocaine.
Drugs were discovered in containers that had been shipped from an Asian country. According to the news agency, the police deployed high-tech devices to monitor the movement of the suspected packages.
According to the authorities, the drug bust was in accordance with its efforts to reduce transnational crime and stop drug trafficking.
Dubai authorities praise the staff for seizing drugs
General of Dubai Customs Ahmed Mahboub Musabih praised his staff “for their exceptional work in intelligence analysis, shipment tracking, and the seamless exchange of information and expertise in all aspects of security and customs operations.”
The goal is to strengthen the UAE’s standing in global security,” Dr. Khaled Al Mansouri, Director of Customs Intelligence at Dubai Customs, noted.
For this reason, the government agency puts forth all of its efforts into protecting the international supply chain.
