Renault has updated the Kiger SUV’s mid-spec RXT(O) model with a plethora of new features. The updated Kiger model now costs INR 7.99 lakh.

The RXT(O) now has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone mirroring, LED headlights and taillights, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Furthermore, Renault has provided the ‘Human First Programme’ by making safety features such as Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) standard on all Kiger variants.
The Kiger has four airbags, seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters, impact-sensing door unlocking, speed-sensing door locks, and ISOFIX child seat anchorage. Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said on the occasion:

Renault India announced the launch of the newly updated BS-6 Step 2 range, which includes models such as the Kiger, Triber, and Kwid.
Apart from updating the line to meet the most recent emission standards, the company has also incorporated new increased safety measures to all of its vehicles.
According to the corporation, its vehicles now include a self-diagnostic device. This device has been installed to continuously monitor the pollution levels of the car while driving. It also keeps an eye on other essential emission components like the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors.
In an official statement, the Kwid manufacturer stated that it remains committed to the Government of India’s objective for a clean and green environment.
“The launch of new BSVI Step 2 compliant petrol engines across the range will ensure substantial reduction in emissions, thus contributing to a safer and cleaner environment,” said Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director, Renault India Operations.
