Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, the Chairman of the Senate, officially opened the Parliament House’s newly built IT Complex.
The Chairman was informed of the current IT projects being carried out as part of the Chairman’s initiative of the Digital Parliamentary Framework, which includes the upgrading of IT Infrastructure, Automation of Parliamentary Processes, and Citizen Centric IT Services, by the DG (IT) Senate, Syed Asim Raza.
The newly built IT Complex includes a Telecasting Cell, a Software Development Hall, a Helpdesk, an IT Store, and a Workshop, the Chairman was informed.
The endeavor to digitize analog video records of Senate proceedings was also launched by the chairman. The Chairman of the Senate acknowledged and praised the IT Directorate’s work.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Senate claimed that ICT had completely changed how high-profile institutions operated.
In order to facilitate the people, Parliament must increasingly rely on information technology.
He emphasized that the people’s will is represented in Parliament and that ICT’s synergy makes it simple for the people to interact and speak with their legislators directly.
He added that the introduction of cutting-edge ICT Services is part of our effort to energize Parliament’s operations.
The newly constructed IT complex was designed, in the Chairman Senate’s opinion, to best assist the Senators and Senate Staff while also increasing institutional efficiency.
Additionally present were Senators Kauda Babar and Fida Muhammad as well as Secretary of the Senate Qasim Samad Khan.
