Due to the absence of a sea breeze, Karachi recorded a temperature of 38°C on Sunday. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the heat is predicted to last for three more days.
This was disclosed via a forecast from the PMD Early Warning Center.
There are reports that the city’s 79 percent humidity made the temperature feel much hotter. The following three days are anticipated to see afternoon temperatures that range from 36 to 38 degrees.
A cyclone near Myanmar might travel into the Bay of Bengal, generating a low-pressure system that could halt the sea breeze, according to renowned weather analyst Jawad Memon, who forecast last month that the temperature in the city would increase during the second half of October.
According to PMD, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry in the other districts of the province.
It is urged that people stay inside during the afternoons to protect themselves from the sun. Additionally, eat items that can help you avoid heat waves, and drink as much water as you can. Utilize ORS and make an effort to dress in summer-friendly hues.
