According to recent reports, members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) are attempting to leverage specific markets in order to enhance Pakistan’s digital economy. This is essentially the digitalization of the country’s respective innovation and innovation.
The digital economy is intertwined with infrastructure and innovation. Both of these features are still underdeveloped from Pakistan’s perspective; as a result, members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) might leverage Pakistan’s market and resources to boost their digital economies, according to an official.
According to China Economic Net (CEN), Commercial Counsellor at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing Badar uz Zaman said that Pakistan has implemented digital reforms in various aspects such as government management and infrastructure and promoted the overall efficiency of social operations while speaking at a seminar on “Digital economy driving SCO innovation and development.”
According to Zaman, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor already has an Optical Fiber Cable project in place. This initiative would aid Pakistan’s ICT and telecom industries, as well as tourism, IA, 4G, 5G, and other associated industries.
In a nutshell, this might benefit not only the mobile sector but also the country as a whole.
Furthermore, with the help of Pakistan’s local technological ecosystem, China’s innovations will result in a dramatic shift in product creation as well as continued expansion of Pakistan’s digital infrastructure.
