Indonesia has big ambitions for its e-commerce objectives, and Pakistan is one of them. Indonesia has set a goal of $50 billion in e-commerce trade with Pakistan by 2025, according to Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Adam Mulawarman Tugio.
The envoy underlined both countries’ big youth populations, suggesting that they might make a name for themselves in the global e-commerce trade and create a plethora of job opportunities.
According to reports, Indonesia’s envoy believes that the two countries’ e-commerce trade has a lot of promise.
The envoy feels that today’s world’s increased interconnectedness, in which global enterprises are linked to both large and local marketplaces, provides many opportunities for e-commerce hopefuls.
E-commerce trade between Pakistan and Indonesia, according to the Indonesian ambassador, can assist boost bilateral trade and link both sides’ young people in business and trade.
Tugio also emphasised the significance of e-commerce, stating that global retail e-commerce sales were $4.28 trillion in 2020 and are expected to exceed $5 trillion by 2022.
