WhatsApp is introducing a new feature that allows you to show the screen of your computer or phone to others during a video call.
WhatsApp video call new feature
This is useful for collaboration, showing things, and troubleshooting from a distance. As a result, you can now hold online meetings on WhatsApp, making it much easier to communicate.
When you’re on a video call, you can share your screen with everyone on the call by tapping a new button at the bottom of the screen.
Everything on your screen, including messages, will be recorded and shared with others on the call. To avoid interruptions, set your phone to “Do Not Disturb” mode or something similar.
You have complete control and can choose to hide your screen at any time. To use this, you must have the app’s latest beta version 23.12.0.74 installed.
And, to ensure that your conversations remain private, Meta’s app has a new feature. When the person sharing the screen gives permission, the screen recording will be shared.
This update is currently only available to beta testers. However, everyone should be able to use the new features within a few weeks.
