Market speculation in December 2022 claimed that the corporation would debut its first hybrid vehicle in the first half (H1) of 2023. However, limited output and import limitations are said to have put a halt to such developments.
According to a recent claim, citing a “reliable industry source,” Toyota may unveil the Corolla Cross later this year. While no official announcement has been made, the story speculates that the launch will take place in November 2023.
Previously, a reputable source with knowledge of the situation told that the primary structural and mechanical advances have been completed, and the firm is now focusing on the car’s fit and finish.
He also stated that the company has begun work on the vehicle’s nameplates, badges, and fitments. According to the source, who cited a classified document, the vendors are almost finished developing the local parts, and assembly of the Corolla Cross might begin shortly.
