The summer vacation schedule for schools and colleges has been released by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Primary and Secondary Education Department.
All summer district schools and universities will be closed from June 1 to August 14, according to the official notification. Educational institutes will reopen on August 15.
All schools and universities in winter districts will be closed from July 1 to July 31. Academic activities will resume in these districts’ educational institutes on August 1.
Due to the province’s current heatwave, students and parents have asked the provincial government to declare early summer breaks. However, the authorities ignored their petitions and declared the summer vacations as planned.
The Baluchistan Education Department declared early summer breaks in public and private schools and universities on Monday due to the high heat in the province.
day later, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) had also announced early summer vacations in all public and private schools operating in the jurisdiction of Islamabad due to a severe heatwave.
