Capcom’s latest installment in its critically acclaimed fighting game series, Street Fighter 6, was released only three days ago and has already surpassed one million players worldwide, according to the Japanese company.
Street Fighter 6 break the record
The fighting game managed to break the concurrent player record on Steam for fighting games, which was previously held by Dragon Ball FighterZ.
According to Steam Database data, Fighter 6 hit an all-time high of over 70,000 concurrent players on the platform over the weekend.
This achievement increases the series’ total player count, which has now surpassed 50 million. Players can now claim a special in-game item as a token of celebration to commemorate this historic occasion.
Gaming Platforms
Street Fighter 6 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One worldwide. It will be interesting to see how Street Fighter 6’s sales trajectory develops and how it compares to the series’ predecessors.
In Pakistan, the standard edition of Street Fighter 6 costs $59.99 on Steam. The Deluxe Edition costs $84.99, while the Ultimate Edition costs $104.99 and includes the Year 1 Ultimate Pass.
