In order to better compete with other apps, WhatsApp has been improving. It just added the ability to revise sent messages, and it soon will let users share their screens during calls, much like Google Meet and Zoom.
Some beta testers have noticed that the screen-sharing feature, which was first detected by WABetaInfo, is now available in the most recent update, version 2.23.11.19. A new option in the call menu enables users to show their screen to their conversation partners. WhatsApp warns users before activating this function that it would be able to see whatever is on their screen.
Users can share their screens and anything is on them once they consent to the terms. Keep in mind that there could be restrictions on the amount of people your screen sharing can be broadcast to and that this function may not work with earlier software versions.
Users can enjoy new layouts in Whatsapp
Some tabs have also been moved about in the bottom navigation bar due to a small update. Users accustomed to a previous UI layout may have some adjustment issues despite the fact that no tabs have been eliminated.
Remember that these updates are still in WhatsApp’s beta version and won’t make it to the stable app until some time in the future. At least we know that development on this feature has begun and that it will be available soon.
