According to Kazakhstan’s ambassador, Yerzhan Kistafin, direct flights between Pakistan and Kazakhstan will begin on July 8, 2023, with the goal of enhancing travel and business relations.
The goal of this program is to improve the two nations’ economic, social, and cultural integration.
The envoy emphasized the need of direct flights for regional economic and trade ties.
Direct Flights From Pakistan To Kazakhstan
Direct flights are anticipated to increase trade and tourism while also strengthening Pakistan and Kazakhstan’s economic and cultural connections.
The direct trip, which only lasts two hours, is anticipated to strengthen bilateral economic connections and open up chances for collaboration in the tourism industry.
The strategic location of Pakistan was also stressed by Ambassador Kistafin, in particular the future ports in Gwadar and Karachi, which act as entryways to the European and African markets.
Given that Lahore has numerous notable architectural structures and tourism attractions, the new flight would improve accessibility and foster cross-cultural interaction.
Starting on July 8, 2023, SCAT Airlines will introduce new flights connecting Lahore with Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan. The airline will fly two times every week on a luxurious Boeing 737 every Wednesday and Saturday.

With a population of around 2 million, Almaty is the biggest city in Kazakhstan and is referred to as the “city of a thousand colors.” It is situated in the center of the Great Silk Road, at the base of the magnificent Alatau mountains.
