OnePlus has released the Ace 2 Pro in China, which is expected to be known as the OnePlus 11T in the worldwide market. It appears exactly like a standard OnePlus 11, but with a few minor tweaks in specifications.
Display and Design
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has a 6.74-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. This panel has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and can achieve an astounding brightness level of 1,600 nits under certain settings.
Furthermore, it has a 100% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamut, as well as the Always-On Display function, which contributes to a significant 93.9% screen-to-body ratio. The fingerprint sensor is located beneath the display.
The Ace 2 Pro’s vapor chamber has been improved with the addition of a dual-circulation heat dissipation system. This advancement results in an increased total area of 9,140 square millimeters.
This advanced design incorporates numerous strata of graphite and thermal gel to keep things running smoothly even when under severe processing load, making it excellent for gaming.
Software and Internals
While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip has been utilized before in the OnePlus family, it is a significant upgrade over the standard OnePlus Ace 2, which utilizes a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It improves CPU and GPU performance while simultaneously lowering energy usage.
This chipset is paired with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage capacity of up to 1 TB. Because this is the Chinese variation, Color OS 3.1 replaces Oxygen OS. This is in addition to Android 13.
Cameras
In terms of cameras, the Ace 2 Pro takes a more moderate approach, with a primary 50 MP camera with PDAF and OIS, as well as an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro module on the back. Similarly, the front-facing camera is simple, with a 16 MP Samsung sensor and an f/2.4 aperture.
Pricing and Battery
In contrast to its camera features, OnePlus has prioritized a substantial charging capability.
While the 150W rate is not unusual in the company’s range (the Ace Pro also has this potential), it is significant in a market where flagship models frequently adhere to double-digit standards.
On top of it, there is a 5,000 mAh battery cell. The patented SuperVOOC charger is said to charge from 0 to 100% in under 17 minutes. Furthermore, charging at 45W is possible with any Power Delivery (PD) adapter.
The Ace 2 Pro has a SuperVOOC S power management technology that controls the screen, charging rates, and temperature. Furthermore, it guarantees “extended charging protection” in the long run.
This item is available in two colors: Aurora Green and Titanium Gray. Pricing for the 12/256 GB variant begins at $410.
If you are looking for a larger capacity, the 16/512 GB model costs $465. Furthermore, the most expensive option with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage costs $550.
