The Meta-owned WhatsApp app informed iOS users that a new stable update had been published. WaBetaInfo reports that the IM client is about to release a function that will allow users to add a call link to the calendar function.
“WhatsApp for iOS 23.10.77 is marked as a compatible update, but some users may be able to get the same feature by installing the previous 23.10.76 build,” the WhatsApp observer explained.
The function has been announced, and in the following weeks, it will become accessible to some users.
Whatsapp also have a call reminder option
In the event that a user forgets that they have created a link for a WhatsApp call, this function will serve as a helpful reminder. After a call link has been created, users can add it to their calendar by clicking the “Add to Calendar” button.
This feature is accessible from the calls tab, in the same area where you’ll make the call connection. Selecting this option will cause a call link to be placed to your calendar app immediately.
Users of Apple’s iOS can get their hands on the new function by updating the app. The official changelog highlighted not just the call link function but also the buddy mode and the capability to play GIFs mechanically.
