Waleed was with TechX Pakistan at Future Fest 2024. He is the Co-founder of ePosMatic.. We asked about their company and the name.
He said they help restaurants sell things. POS systems used to just do cash. Now they help with sales, customers, and more.
Their name is ePosMatic. It means electronic, Point-of-sale (POS), and automatic. They help restaurants be better, like McDonald’s and KFC. They use new tech in Pakistan.
We asked why they picked food. He said his team knows food well and its problems.
They started in the US. They began in Australia four months ago, and now they are in New Zealand and Pakistan.
We asked if young people in Pakistan like starting businesses. He said they are talented but don’t always realize how good they are in the world. He thinks they can do great things.
We asked how he liked Future Fest 2024. He said it’s good and thinks other young people with new businesses should go. He said, “Come with a big idea like us.” They wanted customers, connections, and money people, and they got all of those things.
