According to News Agency on Monday, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has imposed a new travel restriction on those travelling overseas and ordered them to be required to check their polio vaccination records.
NADRA Orders For Pakistanis Traveling Abroad
The airlines have been ordered by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to check all passengers travelling internationally who have polio vaccination records.
The management of all airports and airlines received the directives. While travelling abroad, the travelers have been urged to maintain current online polio cards.
Additionally, it specified that following the expiration of their current polio immunization cards, travelers must obtain new ones.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) eliminated the requirement for COVID-19 immunization and testing as of June 1 for travel to and from Pakistan.
All passengers are no longer required to provide a COVID-19 vaccination certificate upon arrival or a negative PCR Report before boarding a flight or upon arrival.
Additionally, the requirement that 2% of passengers arriving from the UK, the Gulf, and other nations be screened for COVID-19 had been removed.
“As informed by the National Command and Operations Center, the following decisions concerning inbound passengers to Pakistan will be applicable from immediate effect and until further orders,” the notification stated.
