The Razr 40 Ultra is expected to have a 6.9-inch 1080p folding OLED display with a high refresh rate of either 120Hz or 144Hz, as well as a 3.5-inch OLED cover screen, according to rumors.
The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, to have 12 GB of RAM, and to support storage capacities of up to 512 GB.
The phone’s camera is expected to have a 12MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide shooter, and a 3,640 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Razr 40 Ultra is expected to have a starting price of €1,299 in Europe.
While the Razr 40’s specifications have not been made public, it is expected that Motorola will use cost-cutting measures, such as reducing the size of the cover screen. These changes are most likely intended to achieve the Razr 40’s rumored launch price of €899.
This would make the Razr 40 one of the most affordable flip foldables on the market, potentially forcing competitors to respond. Perhaps we’ll see more affordable foldable phones starting next year.
