Motorola’s low-cost 5G offering, which is also one of the cheapest 5G offerings in some markets, is set to be released in India. The Motorola Moto G62 5G was released last month on the global market, but it will not be available in India until August 11.
The Indian version of the handset will have a more powerful chipset, which is an intriguing aspect of this announcement.
The European version we are currently reviewing is powered by the Snapdragon 480+, while Motorola has confirmed that the Indian version will be powered by the Snapdragon 695.
The rest of the specs are likely to be the same, but it will be interesting to see if Motorola was able to keep the relatively low price of €200 or if it was able to save a few dollars for the emerging Indian market.
After all, India has historically gotten cheaper phones than Europe and the United States. The device appears to be launching on Flipkart, as the store has already set up a landing page announcing the August 11 release date. The Moto G32 will cost between Rs 11,000 and Rs 13,000
