Kia Motor Pakistan updated its crossover SUV, Kia Sportage. The company shared this news on social media. The update only applies to the limited edition model. “Introducing a new look for Kia Sportage Limited Edition with a distinct emblem,” the company said. This new emblem appears only on the limited white edition.
The update is minor and only for the limited edition model. There is no price hike for this new look. The same car was seen on roads, being transported to Kia’s dealerships.
Kia Sportage Limited Edition:
Kia Motors released the Kia Sportage Limited Edition, called “Clear White,” in November 2023. This car has a black front grille, lower grille, side skirts, fog lamps, and emblem. We reviewed this version and discussed the exterior and interior changes.
Exterior Changes:
The front lip remains the same with fog lights, halogen lights, projection lamps, DRLs, and LED indicators. A black trim runs through the bumper.
Kia badging turns black with a slightly changed front grille. A black chrome runs through it. The old plastic finish front spoiler is now gloss black.
This limited edition has black alloy wheels with a 19-inch rim and KUMHO tire size 245/45/R19. The normal Sportage has an 18-inch rim and a tire size of 225/55/R18.
These new wide tires give the car an aggressive look. The windows garnish and door guards now have a gloss black finish, giving the SUV a cleaner look.
The rear profile of the limited edition has minor changes. The Kia logo and other badging of Sportage and AWD are black. All other plastic and chrome elements are now gloss black. These changes look more pronounced on the white edition.
Interior Changes:
Inside, gloss black replaces the old beige. The upholstery matches the dark theme. The leather padding on door panels is dark. The roof liner and panoramic roof remain the same.
The OEM left the silver garnish on the console, infotainment, and cup holders. It would have been better in black. Safety and technology features are the same.
It has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Electronic Parking Brake, Parking Sensors, Downhill Assist, Auto Hold, Diff Lock, Drive Modes, and Cruise Control. Rear AC vents are standard in all variants.
Charging ports, USB inlets, and 12V ports are unchanged. A wireless charging spot is missing.
