According to reports, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is now ready to buy a second fleet of 36 J-10C fighter planes from Chengdu Aerospace Corporation, a major Chinese aircraft manufacturer (CAC).
According to rumours, the 36 J-10C fighter planes will be ordered by PAF for the second time; the first contract, with Chengdu, also included the same number of aircraft.
PAF will buy a total of 72 J-10C units, which will be delivered over the course of 2026. It plans to assemble more than 90 units of multi-role fighter planes by 2032.
Notably, PAF got the first batch of J-10Cs—25 units—in March and the second batch—11 units—in September of this year.

Gryazev-Shipunov (GSh) 23 twin-barrel gun are mounted beneath the port side of the intake as its internal armament.
On 11 external hardpoints, additional armament and gear are placed. To these, 6,000 kg of missiles or bombs, drop-tanks for fuel, or other gear like avionics pods may be fastened.
