More than 127,000 Pakistanis emigrated to other countries in the first two months of 2023 in quest of better jobs opportunities.
In the first two months, from January to February, 127,400 Pakistanis left the nation, according to information acquired from the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment.

According to the statistics, 29,989 drivers and 52,398 employees left the nation in January and February respectively.
In addition, 1,396 engineers, 1,257 accountants, 549 physicians, and 241 instructors departed the nation for better jobs.
In all, 61,321 persons left Pakistan for Saudi Arabia, 27,501 for the United Arab Emirates, 13,700 for Qatar, and 11,060 for Oman.
It is important to note at this point that the data from the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment only applies to those who have registered with the Bureau.
This list does not include those who relocate abroad for academic study or by other means, such as straight immigration.
More than 10 million emigrants who were properly registered with the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment have received foreign employment since the Bureau’s founding in the year 1971.
The greatest number of Pakistanis (946, 571) left the country in 2015 with the intention of finding work.
