The National Assembly of Pakistan has announced its Parliamentary Internship Program – Summer Batch 2025, offering a six-week hands-on experience for students and young graduates. This initiative aims to strengthen democratic awareness among youth and aligns with the National Assembly Strategic Plan (NASP).
Program Overview
The internship provides a unique opportunity to understand legislative procedures, public policy, and democratic norms. Participants will engage directly with the workings of the National Assembly, gaining practical exposure to parliamentary functions.
Duration and Structure
The program spans six weeks, with rolling batches throughout the year. Interns will undergo training and orientation at the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) in Islamabad.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed at least 14 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution. They should be enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program (after 4 semesters) or a Master’s program in specified disciplines.

- 60% marks (percentage system)
- 2.5 CGPA (GPA system)

Applicants from Balochistan, Sindh, Southern Punjab, KP, FATA, AJK, and Gilgit-Baltistan are highly encouraged.
