For the quarter that concluded on December 31, 2022, Atlas Honda Limited declared a profit of Rs. 1.408 billion last month, down 3.7% from Rs. 1.46 billion during the same time in the previous year.
The company’s sales decreased by 3% when compared to Rs. 36.26 billion during the same period last year, despite repeated price increases during the quarter.
Yet sales rose by 19% quarter over quarter (QoQ). Higher volumetric sales, which climbed by about 9% year over year with 272,638 units sold, were the primary factor in the revenue growth.
The recent production difficulties have hurt bike sales and earnings. Honda has also recently announced a number of price increases, which has decreased demand.
Further price rises and decreased sales seem to be coming, given the state of the economy.
