The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan set new prices for four cardiac stents on Tuesday.
On Monday, the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) considered and approved a summary of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination regarding the setting of Maximum Retail Prices for four new cardiac stents recommended by the National Price Fixation Committee for Life Saving Medical Devices.
DRAP sets new prices of 4 stents
- The Drug Regulatory announced that the price of the US Promus PREMIER has been set at Rs58,765.
- The price of the DESyne X2 NECSS Novolimus Drug Eluting Stent System from the United States was set at Rs72,450.
- The DRAP has set the price of Japan’s Ultimaster Sirolimus Eluting Coronary Stent System at Rs65,507.
- The price of Cre8 Amphilimus Eluting Coronary Stent from Turkiye/Italy was fixed at Rs53,130.
