The much-anticipated schedule for the 2023 Cricket World Cup, which will be held in India, has finally been released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The showcase competition, featuring the best teams in the country, will begin on October 5 and go through November 19.
According to the stated schedule, the intense quest for the coveted crown will be showcased in a total of 48 matches played across ten different sites.
On October 6, the Babar Azam-led squad will kick off their campaign against one of the qualifiers in what could be an exciting game. The Men in Green hope to get off to a strong start in their World Cup qualifying campaign when they face off against another team on October 12.
After playing India in Ahmedabad on October 15, the national team will travel to Bengaluru on October 20 and Chennai on October 23 to take on Australia and Afghanistan.
