The International Cricket Council has announced the details of its broadcast arrangements for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, which will bring fans closer to the action than ever before.
The biggest Men’s Cricket World Cup ever begins tomorrow with a rematch of the 2019 final between New Zealand and England in Ahmedabad, with the event culminating in the Final on November 19 at the world’s largest stadium.
ICC’s Global Broadcast Partner
The ICC’s global broadcast partner, Disney Star, and its licensees will broadcast all 48 matches live around the world.
Fans in India will tune in to Star Sports Network to watch the host nation attempt to lift the trophy for the first time since 2011, when they co-hosted the competition with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
1st Vertical Feed Coverage
In addition to the English world feed, Star Sports will broadcast the tournament in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, and each match will be broadcast live on the digital platform Disney+ Hotstar.
In India, ICC TV’s first-of-its-kind vertical feed coverage, supported by Disney Star.
It will provide fans with an easier and more intuitive mobile phone viewing experience of all 48 matches, allowing users to consume content on the go.
Sky Sports Rights
England is defending their title, and cricket fans in the UK can watch the action live on Sky Sports Cricket, Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Mix, Sky Showcase, and digitally via the SkyGO and Sky Sports App.
For the first time, free-to-air primetime highlights will be available on Channel 5 and the My5 App.
WillowTV will be the channel to watch for fans in the United States, with coverage also available on the ESPN+ app.
SuperSport and its app will broadcast the action live in South Africa as well as the 52 Sub-Saharan African countries.
Australian coverage will be provided by Fox Sports and Kayo, with select matches broadcast on Channel Nine and 9Now.
Sky Sport NZ is the place to be for Men’s Cricket World Cup matches in New Zealand.
All matches will be streamed live on STARZPLAY in the UAE and the MENA region, with broadcast coverage available on CricLife MAX in the UAE.
