Bentley, the British luxury car manufacturer, will soon release its first all-electric vehicle. According to CEO Adrian Hallmark, the upcoming electric vehicle (EV) will include cutting-edge self-driving technology. The electric ones will be powered by Mobileye’s 11-camera SuperVision technology.

This system will also be used in Porsche’s Macan EV. Initially, Bently EVs will be able to drive semi-autonomously on highways.
The company hopes to achieve fully autonomous driving in the future by using over-the-air (OTA) software upgrades. Bently’s electric sports coupe is set to debut in 2025.
Hallmark previously stated that the EV would have 1,400 horsepower and accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour in 1.5 seconds. For those who found the pace too fast, Hallmark has promised a “slower” version.
From 2025 to 2030, BNTLY plans to introduce a new EV model every year. The company is investing $3 billion in manufacturing modernization.
Bentley and other luxury automakers are embracing electric mobility, which will revolutionize research and development for other companies.
