Abu Dhabi, UAE, 18 June 2025: The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) and GLOBSEC, a leading global think tank dedicated to advancing security, prosperity, and sustainability worldwide, have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement was signed by His Excellency Nickolay Mladenov, Director-General of AGDA, and Róbert Vass, Founder and President of GLOBSEC, designating AGDA as the Main Institutional Partner of the GLOBSEC Forum from 2025 to 2027.
About the GLOBSEC Forum
The GLOBSEC Forum, held annually, serves as a premier European platform for dialogue, bringing together global leaders, policymakers, and experts to address pressing challenges in security, economic development, climate change, and technology. The 2025 edition will take place from June 12 to 14 in Prague, Czech Republic, offering a strategic space for forward-looking policy discussions.
AGDA’s Role in Shaping the Forum’s Agenda
Under the agreement, AGDA will play an active role in:
- Contributing to the development of the GLOBSEC agenda over the next three years
- Advising on key themes and speakers
- Co-hosting side events
- Supporting bilateral meetings and media engagements
Strengthening Multilateral Diplomacy and Global Cooperation
His Excellency Nickolay Mladenov, Director-General of AGDA, stated:
