Over 60% candidates fail in written exam of trade officers

According to a news agency, more than 60% of candidates failed the written tests for the 40 positions of trade officers that the Pakistani government plans to fill in other countries.

According to sources, 61.45 percent of applicants for trade officer positions failed the written exam. It was discovered that just 101 out of 262 candidates passed the written exam, while 161 were ruled unsuccessful.

Successful Candidates Information

All applicants from the Secretariat, Trade Promotion Services, and Economist groups failed the written test, but the commerce and trade group had the most successful applicants which are 35.

The Pakistan Administrative Service had the largest percentage of successful applicants (56.6%), whereas all five Secretariat Group candidates and four each from the Trade Promotion Service and Economist Group failed the test.

35 of the 56 Commerce and Trade Group examinees passed the test, while 21 were ruled unsuccessful.

Only 30 of 87 applicants from the Inland Revenue Service Group passed the test, with 57 failing.

14 out of 51 individuals from Pakistan Customs Services passed the tests, while 37 were ruled unsuccessful.

13 out of 23 candidates from the Pakistan Administrative Service passed the test, while 10 were unsuccessful.

Only five of the sixteen applicants who took the Office Management Group written test passed, with 11 failing. Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service deemed one of three candidates successful.

Only two of the 11 examinees from the private sector were judged successful.

Interview and IQ Tests of Successful Candidates

According to sources, those who pass the written tests will be interviewed and subjected to IQ tests.
