Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, just unveiled a new social media program called Threads accessible on iOS and Android, and it appears to pose a serious threat to Twitter’s position as the most popular microblogging network. Users can share text, images, and videos with one another and engage in conversation by commenting, sharing, and receiving likes and reshares. Both iOS and Android users can download the software. Threads supports both short text entries (up to 500 characters) and longer videos (up to 5 minutes) for user sharing.
Threads’ strong Instagram integration is one of its most notable qualities. This allows Instagram accounts to be used as usernames and passwords for Threads. Threads users now have the ability to import Instagram content. Even though Threads has just recently been released, millions of users have already downloaded it. Here’s how to customise Android Threads alerts:
- Launch Threads and go to your profile.
- The second step is to select Menu from the top-right corner.
- Click the “Notifications” button.
- Choose Threads and replies or Following and followers and tap Pause all or make individual tweaks. There are 15-minute, 1-hour, 2-hour, 4-hour, and 8-hour slots available.
- Users have the option of making their replies visible to everyone, only their followers, or no one at all under the Threads and replies section.
- Users have the option to disable or enable all notifications under Following and followers.
