How to edit whatsapp sent messages on iphone in 4 easy steps

This month, WhatsApp for Android added the option to go back and change previously sent messages. The same update for iOS users has begun trickling out on the Meta-owned Platform. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of WhatsApp parent company Meta, made the announcement over Instagram’s Meta Channel.

Messages sent from an iPhone can now be revised for up to 15 minutes after they’ve been sent. The ability to edit sent messages will allow users to fix mistakes, make necessary adjustments, and add additional context to a message after it has already been delivered. WhatsApp has also confirmed that a ‘edited’ label will be appended to the message with the modified time stamp. Additionally, the Edit message function is available in both private and public conversations.
