The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to form a government in Balochistan through an alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Fazl (JUI-F).
Government in Balochistan
According to sources, the PPP has expressed its willingness to form a coalition government in the province, and it has sought support from the PML-N in this regard.
However, sources claimed that the Nawaz-led party requested time for consultation on the formation of the provincial government. Sources added that the majority of Balochistan’s elected independents will join the PPP.
Furthermore, sources stated that the PPP would invite the Baloch Nationalist Party (BNP) to join the government.
Strong candidate for Balochistan’s CM
The PPP would field a candidate for the position of chief minister, and the cabinet would consist of members from allied parties.
Sanaullah Zehri is a strong candidate for Balochistan’s Chief Minister position. According to sources, Sanaullah Zehri has working relationships with the JUI, PML-N, and the Nationalist Party.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced the results for all 16 National Assembly seats in Balochistan, which range from NA-251 to NA-266.

According to Form 47, the winning candidate for
- NA-251 is PNAP Chairman Khushhal Khan Kakar.
- While Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir of PML-N won from NA-252.
- Independent candidate Mian Khan Bugti from NA-253.
- BAP President Mir Khalid Hussian Magsi from NA-254.
- Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali of PML-N from NA-255.
- BNP-M President Akhtar Mengal from NA-256.
- Jam Mir Kamal Khan Alyani of PML-N from NA-257.
- Pahleen Baloch of the National Party won from NA-258.
- Malik Shah Gorgage of the PPP from NA-259.
- Usman Badini of the JUI-F from NA-260.
- Akhtar Mengal from NA-261.
- Independent candidate Malik Adil Bazai from NA-262.
- Jamal Shah Kakar of the PML-N from NA-263.
- Nawabzada Jamal Raisani of the PPP from NA-264.
- JUI-F emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman from NA-265.
- PkMAP Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai from NA-266.
