The Eco-Runner Team Delft, a group of students from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, is working on developing a hydrogen-powered car that can travel long distances without refueling.
An hydrogen-powered car
The Eco-Runner XII, their most recent model, aims to set a new world record for the longest distance traveled by a hydrogen vehicle. The team is working to improve the car’s design and aerodynamics in order to increase its efficiency.
They created a lightweight vehicle with impressive mileage by reducing the car’s weight and addressing energy losses.
Despite competition from other companies, the team is committed to sustainable transportation solutions and hopes to inspire a more environmentally friendly future. Their attempt to break the record is scheduled for June.
