The PA147CDV is a 14-inch monitor designed for creatives to use as a supplementary display.
It appears that the secondary display of one of its Duo laptops has been taken off and repurposed into an external monitor, thanks to its tiny form factor and ultrawide 32:9 aspect ratio.
The PA147CDV was meant to be unveiled in September, but it’s now on display at the Las Vegas exhibition, and it’ll be available in North America in the second quarter of 2022.
The PA147CDV includes Microsoft’s Pen Protocol 2.0 functionality as well as a built-in dial that performs similarly to Microsoft’s Surface Dial. It’s hoped that it’ll be less expensive than rival exhibits.
The PA147CDV sports a 14-inch screen and two USB-C connectors in addition to one HDMI port. It can be arranged horizontally or vertically.
Asus is also demonstrating two new displays that will be launched later this year, in addition to the PA147CDV. The 31.5-inch ProArt Display OLED PA32DC monitor, which was announced in September and has a resolution of 3840 x 2160, will be available in North America in the third quarter. The ProArt Display PA348CGV, an ultra-wide 1440p display with a 120Hz refresh rate that was originally unveiled at CES 2022, is also included. If Asus approaches us about price, we’ll update this article.
Later this year, the PA147CDV and two more monitors will be available. In the third quarter of this year, the ProArt Display PA32DC 31.5-inch 3840 x 2160 display will be available in North America.
