The executive board of P@SHA has chosen Nadeem Malik, a prominent figure in the Pakistani IT industry, to serve as the organization’s Secretary General.
On behalf of the P@SHA’s elected IT leadership, he will oversee the daily operations of the secretariat and a team of professionals, as well as increase the organization’s interaction with the government, its members’ associations, and IT industry stakeholders both abroad and at home.
He takes over as the organization’s fourth Secretary General. Former persons Hira Zainab and Shahreyar Hydri both served for less than two years, while Jehan Ara had a pivotal role during his twenty-year tenure as the organization’s top official.

The current secretary general has more than 35 years of experience as a manager, strategic developer, proponent of transformative policies in the workplace, and leader in sales and company expansion in Pakistan and the United States.
He is a dedicated agile fanatic who works hard to satisfy customers. His leadership skills and ability to produce tangible outcomes have been widely lauded. Former Oracle Director of Enterprise Business Nadeem has recently left the company. The Prime Minister’s Taskforce on IT and Telecom includes him as well.
His previous positions include Country Manager for IBM and Microsoft in Pakistan, where he oversaw digital transformation with a growth and diversity focus. His resume also includes senior leadership roles with national organizations like NESPAK, PE Associates Inc., iWAYS, and InfoTech, and as vice president of Huawei Technologies.
