The “Standard” MG4 has 17-inch wheels, grey front bumper plastic, and no rear window tinting. Its motor is powered by a 51-kWh LFP battery and drives the rear wheels.
The French 4 Standard is priced at Rs. 7.97 million. This price includes a “one-pedal” function, 88-kW DC charging, MG Pilot, a 7-inch LCD instrument panel, a 10.25-inch main screen, LED lighting, rear parking sensors, keyless entry and start, and vehicle-to-load charging, which allows a battery to power a small structure.
This is known as the Mulan in China. The Chinese electric hatchback from SAIC is built on the new Nebula platform. Mulan offers three powertrain and battery configurations.
- 51 kWh rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a single electric motor producing 168 horsepower and a WLTP range of 350 km.
- 64 kWh single electric motor, RWD, with 204 horsepower and a range of 435 km
- 77 kWh dual electric motors with all-wheel drive produce 426 horsepower and have a range of 520 km.
Mulan starts at Rs. 4.9 million in China, which is around the same as the standard Honda City. Despite high international prices, Chinese EVs are dominating European markets.
