Endorsed by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), 18 private telecom organizations will work together to finish the undertaking that would bring about an expense of Rs. 4 billion.

Delegate Commissioner (DC) South Karachi, Irshad Ahmed Sodhar, has said that South Karachi region will be freed from the overhead links before the year’s over. The task will be extended to the remainder of the city following and will take 2 years to finish.
Sodhar included that phone and TV links would be put 2 feet under the ground just alongside the principle streets of the city. Overhead wires extending more than 400 Kms, remembering 90 to 100 Kms for South Karachi District alone, will be laid underground in this task.
