Karachi kicked off the 1293rd urs celebrations of the Sufi saint Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi on Sunday. The festivities will last for three days.

A floral wreath was put on the Mazar by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, who then recited the fateha and prayed for the growth and prosperity of the country before officially opening the celebrations. People have special affiliation with the Sufi saint Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi and his Urs is celebrated with respect every year.
