Educational institutes closed for 2 days due to pti protests in pindi

All examinations in Rawalpindi have been rescheduled. The educational institutes have been closed for two days due to the law and order situation in the area, according to a notification issued by the DC Rawalpindi.

Following the notification, the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) postponed its mid-term examinations.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has staged numerous protests in Rawalpindi and has also closed the Murree Expressway.

Sadaqat Abbasi, the PTI’s leader, has stated that the protests will continue until the PTI’s long march reaches Rawalpindi. The imported PDM government’s time has passed, he added.

He went on to say that Imran Khan is their red line, and that if he is harmed in any way, the entire country will be blocked. Protests are intensifying, and the only option for government is to declare a free and fair election.

Meanwhile, a PTI worker was electrocuted to death after climbing an electric poll to chant party slogans. After being electrocuted, the man collapsed to the ground.

PTI workers also blocked GT Road Rata Shah Chowk Margalla from both sides, causing hardship for commuters and local residents, including shopkeepers.

A small group of PTI activists also staged a protest in the Pirwadhai area, and the highway connecting Pirwadhai to IJP Road was closed to traffic as they set fire to tyres.

During the protests, PTI leader Fayyaz-ul-Hasan Chauhan and workers allegedly got into a fight.
